Rockstar Atlanta is happy to announce that we have a new coach on our staff, Nic Stanley. Already a rockstar in the cheerleading world, Nic is a former University of West Georgia cheerleader who won the 2011 UCA National Championship. He has an extensive background in gymnastics and cheerleading, and is currently a Sports Management major at Kennesaw State University.
Nic will be coaching The Who this season and advanced tumbling classes. We are so excited that Nic is a part of our staff this season!! If you see him around the gym make sure you give him a BIG Rockstar welcome! This camp will incorporate stunts, tumbling, jumps, conditioning, and fun team building activities. The athletes will be running outside each day so it is important that they stay adequately hydrated and nourished throughout the week. The gym is very hot and each athlete will be very sweaty and close so please remember to apply deodorant. We also ask that All Star Camp remain closed to parents. This will allow each athlete to bond with their teammates and coaches. Below is a list of essentials each athlete needs to bring, as well as camp times and practice wear. Practices June 6th-June 9th There will NOT be any regular team practices during All Star Camp. There will be Friday team tumble for those who have selected that within their packages. Flight and regular scheduled tumbling classes will continue as normal during camp. All Star Camp is designed to be fun however, it will also be a lot of work. We anticipate each athlete being very sore and very tired. They are NOT allowed to miss camp because they are sore/tired. We ask that you please encourage your child to keep pushing and working hard throughout camp. We are very excited for camp and cannot wait to see each athlete's progress throughout the week. Forms If you have not turned in your band manager form, USASF form, birth certificate, or payment authorization form please get those in ASAP. If you are unsure if we are missing something from you please email [email protected] to verify. |
