Rockstar Cheer Atlanta Exceptional Athlete Information
Welcome to CheerAbilities, a program that offers athletes of all abilities the opportunity to cheer
alongside their peers at all-star cheerleading events.
Rockstar Cheer Atlanta’s CheerAbilities program works to build confidence, strength, friendships, and skills through the sport of cheerleading. Through consistency, repetition, and positive reinforcement we strive to help each athlete reach their fullest potential.
Rockstar Cheer Atlanta introduced Triumph in 2016 as our first cheer team for athletes with special needs. Going into our 3rd season we are working to grow the program into 2 teams;
one competitive squad and one exhibition squad.
Our CheerAbilities program is a low to no-cost program. We attend 3-4 competitions.
We offer open enrollment for Triumph, the exhibition squad.
Placement on the Supremes, the competitive squad, is by evaluation only.
Our Competitive squad:
This squad is for older athletes who are
experienced in cheerleading and need little to no assistance in performing the routine.
*This is a one-day event. I will not know which day until closer to December.
February 23 & 24
*This is a 2 day event
The focus for this squad this year will be independence and perfection. We will compete against a scoresheet and we will receive scores at each competition. The overall goal is to qualify for a season-ending competition. I have put 3 competitions on the calendar where they have the opportunity to earn bids to other competitions.
Big Bid: This competition has a season-ending competition held here in Atlanta on May 12-13.
Cheersport Nationals: A video of their routine at this competition will be sent to USASF nationals.
This will allow their routine to be evaluated against all of the other CheerAbilities competitive teams in the county. Only the top 5 will advance to Cheerleading Worlds held in Disney World April 27-30 (exact day not determined.) Qualifying to this prestigious event is a goal but it is very hard to do your first year in this arena.
I just want the families to know how high the expectations are for the kids and what our ULTIMATE achievement would be.
Victory: This competition has a season-ending competition
held in Ft. Walton on April 13-14 (exact day not determined.)
The goal would be to attend only ONE season-ending event.
Practices: Sunday and Wednesday: 6:00-7:30
Coaches: Katilyn Boyer, Carolyn Garrison & Caroline Cohen
Uniform: We are designing new uniforms this season. Each athlete will be asked to contribute 50% of the
cost of the uniform (not more than $100.) Fittings for uniforms will be in September.
Spirit wear: A line of spirit wear will be made available for preorder in October. Items will arrive prior to our showcase.
Our Exhibition squad:
This squad is perfect for younger athletes, athletes who may be new to the sport of cheerleading, or for those who need a little more assistance with the routines.
This squad will continue to use the “Groupie” or buddy system where we partner your athlete with a volunteer to assist in memorization of the routine or by assisting in stunting. This program will perform mostly in the Atlanta area.

The focus for this squad this year will be on learning the sport of cheerleading.
The overall goal for this squad is to gain experience in the sport of cheerleading, learning to sequence a series of skills, motions, jumps and tumbling for a 2:00 minute routine, to gain more strength, and to make friends.
Practices: Sundays 12:30-2:00
